smartmicro DRVEGRD 166
The smartmicro DRVEGRD 166 is a 4D imaging radar with a much higher resolution than previous generations. By providing true separation in both azimuth and elevation, it reliably separates objects that are very close to each other. This means it identifies multiple objects in high-traffic conditions better than ever before delivering a very dense point cloud. It also has a wide field of view and covers a range of up to 300 m.
DRVEGRD 166 is a high-performance, cost-effective solution that is very robust and unaffected by dirt or adverse weather conditions. The different sensor configurations allow new features for autonomous vehicles to improve safety. Designed for ASIL-B compliance, the DRVEGRD 166 can be integrated into safety systems and meets the challenges of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and the L2+ autonomous vehicles market.
