Our calendar was definitely packed this month! During the 31 days of October, AutonomouStuff team members traveled to 15+ events. Throughout the month, you could find us providing live and static automated demos, presenting on various relevant autonomy-related topics, participating in panel discussions with our crazy talented cohorts and chatting with attendees about all of the wonderful things happening at AutonomouStuff. We even hosted our annual open house at our Morton, Ill. headquarters. Keep reading and take in our October events!

iSEE 10.4.18


Bobby was pleased to speak at iSEE Congress 2018 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His presentation focused on automated vehicles and the future of transportation.

GTC Europe 10.9.18


AutonomouStuff's Karlsruhe-based team attended NVIDIA's GPU Technology conference in Munich, Germany. At the event, attendees had the chance to see our automated Lexus in (static) action. NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC) Europe is part of the largest global series of events focused on artificial intelligence and its applications across many important fields.

ECE Explorations 10.10.18


Director of Engineering, Joe Buckner, spoke to electrical engineering students about the autonomous industry and how it has evolved.

IDOT Fall Conference 10.11.18


At IDOT's fall conference Joe Buckner spoke to transportation professionals about autonomy. Demos were provided by our talented team members.

World Safety Summit 10.18.18


AStuff team members attended Velodyne's World Safety Summit at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. At the event, Bobby participated in a panel discussion on "Defining full autonomy and its necessary technologies" with co panelists Oliver Cameron, Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer, Voyage; Frank Menchaca, Chief Product Officer, SAE International; Dr. Yaoming Shen, Sr Optical Engineer, Baidu; and Paul Konasewich, Director of Business Development, PACCAR Innovation Center.

Two AStuff demo vehicles also made appearances at the event, and we happily hosted a booth where we were able to chat with attendees.
