Grit Robotics invited to DARPA Robotics Challenge

06 March 2015

darpaOur friends at Grit Robotics have been invited to the 2015 DARPA Robotics Challenge Finals June 5-6 at Fairplex in Pomona, California. The DRC Finals will require robots to attempt a circuit of consecutive physical tasks, with degraded communications between the robots and their operators; the winning team will receive a $2 million prize.

Grit Robotics will compete with their robot, Cog-Burn. Cog-Burn was developed by a self-funded, small, but highly passionate and dedicated team of undergraduate students, professors and professional engineers.

We wish them luck and are very excited to be working with them.
