What you will do:

  • Write embedded firmware in C++ on various microcontrollers
  • Configure vehicle control systems
  • Create PCB’s for by-wire control
  • Develop control software and tune PID controllers
  • Participate in FMEA of vehicle control systems
  • Decode vehicle CAN bus communication
  • Work with a team of engineers within a fast-paced work environment

What we want to see:

  • Bachelor level engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, software)
  • 3+ years of general engineering experience
  • Industry experience writing embedded firmware in C++ on various microcontrollers
  • Extensive experience analyzing and decoding CAN bus communication
  • Knowledge of automotive control systems, including functionality of power steering, throttle and braking systems
  • Professional, self-motivated, dependable and detail oriented
  • Responsible and able to self-prioritize tasks assigned

How to stand out from the crowd:

  • Masters/PhD level engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, software)
  • 5+ years of career experience writing embedded firmware in C++
  • Direct experience tuning automotive control systems
  • Robotics or automated vehicle experience
