NovAtel Positioning Kits

We have worked very closely with the team at NovAtel to develop the best GNSS solutions for your autonomous vehicle research & development. All kits, with the exception of Kit 3, are supplied with the NovAtel PwrPak7 all-in-one SPAN enclosure with dual-antenna capability. For the best accuracy possible, the PwrPak7 can be paired with an RTK base station. The PwrPak7D receivers have been paired with varying IMU models, depending on your accuracy requirements, as well as two GNSS-502 dual-frequency, low-profile antennas with magnetic roof mounts for easy installation.

Kit 1

All-in-one, single-antenna GNSS+IMU
AStuff Kit – Level 1 (Good)

  • IMU-IGM-S1: 125 Hz inertial measurements, direct wheel sensor support, commercially exportable, small and lightweight design
  • Two GNSS-502 dual-frequency antennas, multi-constellation, L-band (PPP), dual magnetic mounts
  • Two 5-m RF cable and SMA-TNC connectors
  • For improved accuracy, add a TerraStar subscription or an RTK base station

  • IMU-µIMU-IC: 200 Hz inertial measurements, direct wheel sensor support, commercially exportable, better accelerometer/gyro stability

Kit 6

Stand-alone, dual-antenna GNSS + Nav grade IMU

  • IMU-ISA-100C: 200 Hz inertial measurements, Northrop Grumman LITEF, rugged enclosure, FOG/MEMS, navigation grade
  • Two GNSS-502 dual-frequency antennas, multi-constellation, L-band (PPP), dual magnetic mounts
  • Two 5-m RF cables and SMA male connectors
  • For improved accuracy, add a TerraStar subscription or an RTK base station

Add-ons

For improved accuracy add an RTK base station:
PwrPak7 + GNSS antenna + 30-m RF cable pair with a set of Microhard radios or use over a cellular network with an NTRIP server.
