Our calendar was definitely packed this month! During the 31 days of October, AutonomouStuff team members traveled to 15+ events. Throughout the month, you could find us providing live and static automated demos, presenting on various relevant autonomy-related topics, participating in panel discussions with our crazy talented cohorts and chatting with attendees about all of the wonderful things happening at AutonomouStuff. We even hosted our annual open house at our Morton, Ill. headquarters. Keep reading and take in our October events!
Bobby was pleased to speak at iSEE Congress 2018 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His presentation focused on automated vehicles and the future of transportation.
"I get chills thinking about how fast this industry is growing ... just like the adoption from the horse to the Model T, I think we are just a few years away from automated mass deployment in cities." - Bobby Hambrick
GTC Europe 10.9.18
AutonomouStuff's Karlsruhe-based team attended NVIDIA's GPU Technology conference in Munich, Germany. At the event, attendees had the chance to see our automated Lexus in (static) action. NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC) Europe is part of the largest global series of events focused on artificial intelligence and its applications across many important fields.
World Safety Summit 10.18.18
AStuff team members attended Velodyne's World Safety Summit at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. At the event, Bobby participated in a panel discussion on "Defining full autonomy and its necessary technologies" with co panelists Oliver Cameron, Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer, Voyage; Frank Menchaca, Chief Product Officer, SAE International;
