The AutonomouStuff Software Engineering Team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing open and closed-source software to enable our customers to fully utilize their autonomous vehicle’s hardware. We are a small collaborative team of driven engineers with a mission to produce safe, reliable, and quality software applications and tools to deliver a great customer experience.

What you will do:

  • Develop localization, perception, control, and visualization software in C++ or Python for deployment on autonomous platforms
  • On-vehicle software/hardware integration, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Product and project collaboration with internal and external customers
  • Customize existing software applications for specific customer requests
  • Refine various software applications for latency, security, user experience, and failure tolerance
  • Develop, maintain, and test hardware drivers for use with ROS
  • Contribute to user manual and training material creation for various software applications
  • On-vehicle testing of software releases
  • Minimal travel may be required

What we want to see:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of C++ and Python software development in a Linux environment
  • Experience with ROS, GIT, and JIRA
  • 2-8 Years Engineering experience
  • Professional, self-motivated, detail oriented

  • Direct experience working in the autonomous vehicle industry
  • UI-UX experience
  • Control Systems tuning experience
  • Extensive background developing C++ software
  • Software-in-the-loop experience
  • Passion for robotics and autonomous vehicle development
