Software and Product Support Engineer

Beijing, China

What you will do:

  • Set up and troubleshoot Linux computers, autonomous vehicle sensors, data storage and software systems
  • Provide on-site and remote software system technical support
  • Provide on-site and remote sales support as needed
  • Provide support for our systems and products such as Radar, Lidar, Ultrasonic, GPS, GPS/IMU, etc.
  • Assist with the development of training materials to build a knowledge base
  • Aid in the creation of support documentation for a variety of products and systems
  • Respond and update to support tickets and phone calls from customers
  • Maintain a high level of world-class customer support at all times
  • Work directly with customers on the leading edge of autonomous research
  • Integrate autonomous software stacks onto customer, and company vehicles

What we want to see:

  • 3+ years’ experience programming in ROS with C or C++
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu
  • Working knowledge of Ethernet, CAN and serial interface protocols
  • Prior experience in a highly technical field/industry
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or support
  • Proficient troubleshooting/ problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize tasks

How to stand out from the crowd:

  • Prior experience working with Autonomy
  • Extensive knowledge of ROS
  • Experience working with network systems (CAN, socket communication, etc.)
  • Proven capability to create a customer solution and solve highly technical issues
  • Passion for robotics/autonomy industry
