Project Manager

Project Managers at AutonomouStuff are responsible for taking new ideas from conception to a deliverable product. We deliver autonomous research platforms but have projects ranging from custom by-wire platforms to software projects. The Project Manager will work with the customer to create a statement of work, billing schedules, milestones, and timelines. They will also work with all other departments to make sure the project is completed on time and within budget. Ultimately, the Project Manager is responsible for delivering a world-class product.

What you will do:

  • Manage project timelines
  • Create SOWs for incoming builds
  • Meet with our clients to generate project plans
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all projects
  • Oversee the design of brackets, equipment, parts, etc
  • Work with autonomous systems engineers to develop vehicle platforms
  • Manage new part number requests
  • Always ensure the highest quality product is being delivered
  • Document new processes (SOPs) for internal use and customer training
  • Draw power and network diagrams for internal use
  • Validate sensors/software
  • Set follow-ups for sales
  • Work with operations to manage inventory
  • Make sure correct components are shipped on time for on-site technician support
  • Meet with clients regularly for training and support 

What we want to see:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred, engineering or business)
  • Expert troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with various sensors
  • Well developed automotive experience
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical materials and details to customers, vendors, partners, and team members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Projects, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
  • Passion for providing world-class support 
  • Professional, self-motivated, detail-oriented
  • Must be a professional, motivated and dependable employee who is ready to contribute to a fast-paced team

How to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with Linux, ROS, GIT
  • Strong background working with lidar, GPS, radar, vision, and controls
  • Extensive automotive knowledge 
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
