Embedded Engineer

What you will do:

  • Write embedded firmware in C++ on various micro-controllers
  • Configure vehicle control systems
  • Develop control software and tune advanced PID controllers
  • Participate in FMEA analysis of vehicle control systems
  • Work with a team of engineers within an Agile development environment
  • Decode vehicle CAN bus communication

What we want to see:

  • Bachelor level engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, software)
  • Industry experience writing embedded firmware in C++ on various microcontrollers
  • Extensive experience analyzing and decoding CAN bus communication
  • 3+ years of career (nonacademic) experience
  • Knowledge of automotive control systems including functionality of power steering, throttle, and braking systems
  • Professional, self-motivated, detail oriented

How to stand out from the crowd:

  • Masters/PHD level engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, software)
  • 5+ years of career (nonacademic)experience writing embedded firmware in C++
  • Direct experience tuning automotive control systems
  • Robotics or automated vehicle experience
  • Passion for automotive work
